Can you provide recommendations on septic installers and soil evaluators?
The Missouri Department of Health and Human Services keeps a list of licensed installers and soil evaluators. Please refer to the links on this page.
Do I need an appointment for WIC services?
Yes, a WIC appointment is required in order to assess eligibility and review program details.
Does the Health Unit bill insurance for clinical services?
- Some services may be billed through insurance, please bring your insurance card as we utilize a third-party payer for vaccines.
- Self-pay options are available for laboratory services.
- Payment is required at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, and debit/credit cards. There is a $2.00 fee for card transactions, or a 4% fee for transactions of $50.00 and over. *Please note that not all clinical services are billed to insurance.
Does the Health Unit schedule appointments for clinical services?
The Health Unit currently offers clinical services on a walk-in basis from 7:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. We are closed on all major holidays. For more information see our Events page or contact us at (417)859-2532.

What do I need to bring to obtain a Missouri birth or death certificate?
You will need a form of ID (Drivers license, real ID etc..) Birth Certificates are $15 and Death Certificates are $14 for the 1st copy and $11 after that. Credit/Debit card payments have an additional $2.00 fee, or 4% fee if the transactions is over $50.00. More information about Vital Records can be found here.
